Superman (Monster Cast)

Fernando, known as Superman, is a Brazilian communicator, bodybuilding enthusiast and co-host of Monster Cast alongside Ed. His work combines personal training experience, interviews with sports professionals and commentary on competitive bodybuilding.

In “Fernando Superman – Especial BBzinho Cinza Bday,” published by Monster Cast in December 2022 and summarized by Fisiculturismo.com.br, he said he began training at 15 in a gym in Ubatuba. He highlighted the influence of the gym owner, known as Terra, on his relationship with training.

According to that account, he moved to São Paulo when young and worked in restaurants and building-material sales before working in a supplement store. Returning to training and working in the industry brought him closer to the community that would later follow his content.

His story should not be confused with a professional competitor’s career: in the interview, he explained his decision not to compete despite encouragement from Júlio Balestrin. In 2023, Esportelândia also distinguished maintaining a developed physique and considering guest posing from entering a contest. In 2024, he appeared with Ed on Flow #344.
